Ended before it’s begun: Hillary Clinton’s pursuit of the presidency. America will now never vote for Hillary Clinton for president. Thank Vladimir Putin for this.
After Crimea and the Ukraine, Americans know Russia is becoming Russia again. After unfair competition and giving up millions of American jobs to China, Americans know China will become the number 1 economy during Obama’s presidency.
Americans instinctively know that we have returned to the Clash of Titans. America and the world are chilled by the facts of the world turning against us. We are no longer just dealing with terrorist and stateless groups. America is on the knife’s edge – we know Putin sees Russia’s future as a reborn world empire; we know China sees China’s future as the total Asian-dominated world empire. Americans instinctively know and fear that the Obama – Clinton abandonment of America as the dominant world power and player has also put America on this knife’s edge – do Russia and China now see their future together again – against a weak and ineffective America?
Americans now know that the Cold War we won has been lost. Americans now know that Cold War II has started ! And Americans know that the Obama – Clinton pious world vision of multi-lateralism, was to mask their belief that ‘America’s but a walking shadow, a poor player that struts and frets its hour upon the stage and then is heard no more.’ America is waking up to the fact that the Obama – Clinton diplomacy on the world’s stage is what lost the Cold War we won after 50 years of of our ‘blood, toil, tears and sweat.’’
And so, the gut-wrenching question in this presidential election is: who’s right? The American people? Or the defeatist Obama – Clintonistas?
Do we Americans still have guts to face up to the fact that we have returned to the Cold War World? Do we Americans still have the strength to resist Russian and Chinese world domination? Do we Americans still have the will to fight to save the American Way? Do we Americans still have the desire to fight for truth, justice and freedom for all? Do we Americans still have the courage to Live Free or Die?
Or, are we just so exhausted after the Cold War that we are like France after WW I who deceived themselves and retreated behind a defensive “impregnable” fortified line? Or, are we just so cowering in a trench dug in our mind that we will continue to watch dumbfounded as the “Bullies” engage in mobile operations manoeuvering right around us?
This Presidential Race is a proxy for whether America will agree to defeat itself like the French after WWI, and willingly hand itself over to the enemy after a few weeks of conflict. This Presidential Race is a proxy for whether America, like Chamberlain, will be content to live in a world of make-believe paper agreements, where America continually makes conferences and agreements which “paper over” allowing the Big Bullies (not the Obama schoolyard ones) to take what they want.
This Presidential Race is a proxy for whether America is still America.
Hillary Clinton is tied to the hip of President Obama. And for us Americans, we know that President Obama in the world of Réalpolitik was and is a total disaster. Who could possibly vote for someone affiliated with Obama in this new Cold War world?
Well, if America votes for Hillary – the Obama – Clintonista diplomacy, then a defeatist American people will have voted for a new American Maginot Line. Then America will have voted for declining to fight Cold War II and will have admitted defeat and hand ourselves over to the Bad Asses.
Don’t we know better? Don’t we still have guts, strength, will, desire and courage? Don’t we still have it in us ” to offer our blood, toil, tears and sweat”?
Don’t we, ordinary Americans, still have within us a band of brothers to — “Once more into the breach….”? Don’t we know what Ohio surely knows – that in times like these, we need a Cincinnatus: “He stood, a soldier, to the last right end, A perfect patriot and a noble friend….”
For us Americans, it is now only possible to vote for someone for president with military experience or deference to military experience.
And so, for this presidential election in the new Cold War, we hopefully still have it in us to end, as we began. That:
We Americans still believe in “a firm reliance on the protection of divine Providence….” And, We Americans still have it in us to “mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes and our sacred Honor”.
